William J. "Bill" Gobetz,74, of Hurley, former owner of Pine Lake Lodge, passed away on October 17, 2019, in Wausau surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born on June 6, 1945, in Bellwood, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Rose (Cherne) Gobetz.
He loved the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed watching their games.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Michael (Rosalbe) Gobetz, Chicago; granddaughter, Ashlee Sandberg, Chicago; brother, Steve (Patty) Gobetz, Illinois; sister, Pat Mcanallen, Newcastle, Penn.; his beloved dog, Josie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Beth.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
