Virginia E. Hahn, 91, of Mercer, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
She was born on December 2, 1933 in Gordon, Wisconsin to John Armstrong and Minnie Crocker. On Aug. 30, 1952, she was married to Edward Henry Hahn at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hayward by the late Msgr. Kalandyck. Ginny loved to go fishing, playing slots and card games, reading and crafts, along with raising her family.
Ginny is survived by her four sons, Michael (Deborah) of Ironwood, Joseph (Cindy) of Mercer, Jon (Bonnie) of West Bend, and Christopher of Omaha, NE; daughter, Wendy (Joe) Anderson of Lansing; 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Lou Duckett; son-in-law, Joseph Hammond, along with other relatives and friends.
Ginny was preceded in death by her father, step-father, mother, her husband, Ed in 2013; two sons, Bruce in infancy and James in 2006; two daughters, Elizabeth Hahn in 1969, and Susan Hammond in 2008, and her brother, John (Marge) Armstrong; and her grandson, Vincent Hahn.
Following Ginny's wishes, cremation has taken place and burial at Mercer Cemetery will take place in the spring.
