Valerie D. Ward, age 70 of Watersmeet, MI, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home. She was born May 18, 1947 in Howell, Michigan, the daughter of the late John L. and Dolores (Crofoot) Ward. Valerie graduated from Fowlerville High School with the Class of 1965. She attended Lansing Business University where she received her degree in accounting. She was worked as a building contractor for most of her life. Valerie enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood-working, and helping friends. She is survived by her brother, John L. Ward II of Reno, Nevada. A Celebration of life will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Gateway Hotel in Land''O Lakes, WI.
