Rosemarie Dennis, 57, of Saxon, Wis. , formerly of New Orleans , died Sunday, Nov. 22,
2009 , in Duluth .
She was born Oct. 10, 1952 , in New Jersey , the daughter of Grace (Gyorgydeak) and
the late Thadeus Welch. Rosemarie worked in sales for a variety of
companies, including a candy company and a tobacco company.
Her hobbies included boating, ATV riding, horseback riding and anything
that had to do with the outdoors. Rose and her husband, Wallace, went
everywhere together. Rosemarie was a loving and caring wife,
stepmother and friend who took care of everything. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her husband, Wally;
stepdaughters, Kimberly (Keeron) Jones and Rene (Michael) Dolhon;
grandchildren, TJ and Braedon Jones and Devin Dolhon; her mother, Grace Welch;
sisters, Geraldine White, Veronica Favre and Patricia Ament; brothers, Howard,
Edward, Randolph and David Welch; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Cathleen
(Robert) Kuehl, Edward (Margie) Dennis, Gene (Elaine) Dennis, Joseph (Barbara)
Dennis, Dolores (Peter) Strand, Daniel (Nancy) Dennis, Annette (Richard) Brown,
LeeAnne (Gordon) Runquist, John (Diane) Dennis, Irene (Norman) Buntrock, Lori
Dennis (Bill Byers), Donna (Steve) Galush and Alan Dennis; numerous other
relatives and friends She was preceded in death by her father,
Thadeus; a stepdaughter, Jennifer; her mother- and father-in-law Willard and
Patricia Dennis; and a brother-in-law, David Dennis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in
Saxon, with the Rev. Kevin Gordon, celebrant. Visitation will be at the church
from 9 to
11
a.m. on Friday. Refreshments will be served in the Saxon Community Center immediately following Mass. Pallbearers will be John, Joseph, Joshua
and Dustin Dennis, Jerry Eklund and Ron Peterson. Interment of Rosemarie's ashes will be in
the Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale , La. , at a later date.
