Rosalyn V. "Rose"Tiessen, 92, of Ironwood went to be with our Lord from the Covid-19 virus on October 22, 2020, at Westgate Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living Community in Ironwood.

On November 9, 1927, she was born in Duluth, Minnesota, the daughter of Albert and Hannah (Svedlund) Tenney.

Rose is survived by her sons, David (Cheri) Hammerstrom, John (Debbie) Lunke, and Jay (Paula) Lunke;
daughters, Joy Connor and Charlie (Gary) Mishwa Benishi; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles John Tiessen; son, Floyd Hammerstrom; daughter, Judy Diver; and grandson, John Mapstone.
