after services. A 33-year member of the Ironwood-Hurley Rotary Club, he was the
club's sergeant-at arms on Wednesday meeting days at the Elk & Hound,
participated in past Rotary Christmas tree sales, and manned the popcorn wagon
during community events and at the Gogebic County Fair for many years. He also
sang in the Little Finland Choir, delivered newspapers for the Daily Globe, and
was a big Green Bay Packer fan. Surviving are his sister, Gladys Danowski, of
Ironwood; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by a brother, John; and sister, Blanche Steele. Out of respect for Ronnie's wishes, cremation
has taken place. Memorial services will be held Thursday, Dec.
