Roger F. Fesnick, 66, of Bessemer, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Roger was born on March 13, 1960, in Ironwood, to John and Catherine (Cech) Fesnick. He graduated from Bessemer High School and was employed at Randall's Bakery. Roger had a love for the outdoors and could often be found biking, rock climbing, or tinkering on vehicles. He enjoyed figuring out how things worked and was happiest when he was keeping busy with his hands. When he was inside, his favorite music was usually turned up loud enough for everyone to enjoy along with him.

More than anything, Roger cherished the people in his life. He especially treasured the time he spent with his daughter, granddaughter, and those he considered family. His easygoing nature, adventurous spirit, and love of music will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Rylee Sordahl; Kelsey Sordahl, who was like a daughter to him; his beloved granddaughter, Stella Nasi; his sister-in-law, Jill Fesnick; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Gerry Fesnick; and the mother of his daughter and longtime friend, Amy Sordahl.

A celebration of Roger's life will be planned and announced at a later date.
