Robert L. "Bob" Larson, 65, of 557 W. Francis St., Ironwood, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, in Ironwood. He was born Oct. 2, 1942, in Ashland, Wis., son of Elaine (Fafford) and the late Lyle Larson. He was married to the former Betty N. Hammond of North Carolina. She preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2004 Bob is survived by his seven children; his mother, Elaine Larson, of Ironwood; and his sister, Cheryl, of Big Rapids. In accordance with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. A Mass will be celebrated in memory of Bob at a later date. He doesn't hurt anymore.
