Robert G. "Too Tall"
Bouillion, 54, of Stevens Point, Wis., died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014,
in Bessemer. He was born March 3, 1959, in Wakefield, son
of the late John and Cara (Bailey) Bouillion, and spent his younger years in
Watersmeet. The family then moved to Bessemer, where Bob graduated from A.D.
Johnston High School in 1977. He then served stateside in the U.S. Navy for a
short time. Following his honorable discharge, Bob
returned to Bessemer and worked for Ramme's Auto and RV Sales for several
years. Moving to Iron River, he was employed at Cloverland Lumber Co. for five
years. He then made his home in Stevens Point and was employed as a semi-driver
for various trucking companies. Bob was a fantastic artist and loved the
outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed writing poetry and going
to the casino. He especially enjoyed his family and grandchildren. A kind hearted person, Bob would do anything for anyone. He
will be dearly missed. On July 22, 1989, he was married to the former
Mary Louise Nelson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ironwood. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Mark
(Jaimie) Seymour, Republic; four grandchildren; four brothers, David (Sharon),
Hurley, Wis., Daniel, Green Bay, Wis., and John and James, both of Bessemer; six
sisters, Lois (Dave) Assmann, Minocqua, Wis., Charlotte (Bill) Barribeau,
Sherwood, Wis., Marion Bouillion, Bessemer, Bonnie Ruby, Hurley, Karen (Richard)
Blomberg, Bessemer, and Debra (Dale) Anderson, Saginaw, Minn.;a brother-in-law,
LeRoy (Jeri) Nelson, Stevens Point; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and
very special friend, Jane Ramme, Ironwood. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death
by an infant sister, Carol Ann; his mother-in-law, Deloris Nelson;
sister-in-law, Barbara Gagas; and very special friend, Clarence "Kelly"
Ramme. Out of respect for his wishes, cremation has
taken place. A memorial service will be held Monday, Feb.
24, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at McKevitt-Patrick Funeral
Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood, with the Rev. Bill Jacobson
officiating. Memorial services will also be held in Stevens
Point at a later date. The family requests that no flowers be
sent. Arrangements have been entrusted to
