Peter A. Kalember Jr., 55, of Sunset Road, Ironwood Township, died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, in his home.      He was born Oct. 28, 1959, in Virginia, Minn., son of Betty (Ray) and the late Peter Kalember Sr., and graduated from Red Wing Central High School, Red Wing, Minn., in 1979. He then attended Golden Valley Lutheran College and served two years stateside in the U.S. Air Force, moving to Ironwood in 2004.      Peter was a great outdoorsman and fisherman. He loved wildlife and especially enjoyed feeding the deer in his backyard.      Surviving are a son, Peter Kalember III, Red Wing; two daughters, Emily (Chris) Dow, Red Wing, and Ashley (Matt) Weightman, Prior Lake, Minn.; eight grandchildren; his mother, Betty Kalember, Minneapolis; brother, Greg Kalember, Red Wing; two sisters, Karen (Buckley) Brinkman, Madison, Wis., and Robyn Kalember, Minneapolis; and his special loving companion, Sue Ahola, Ironwood.      A private family service was held.      Arrangements were with McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ironwood.
