Pearl Ann Hill, 94, of Bessemer, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Pearl was born on March 9, 1031, to Clyde and Rose (Mercier) Mayo in Chicago, Illinois. Pearl enjoyed cooking, tending to her garden and making flower arrangements, and crafts. She was an avid golfer and golfed into her mid-80s.

She will be missed by her five children: Yvonne Hill, Richard Hill, Jeffery Hill, Beth Hill, and Susan Peterson; her brother, Paul Mayo; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Pearl is further survived by other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Hill; and her husbands, Israel Rodriguez, Vernon Hill, and Henry Koivinen.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Sunset Acres Cemetery in Ironwood Township with a celebration of Peal's life following at Sharon's Coffee Company in Hurley.
