Paul J. DuCharme, 70, of Milwaukee, and a native of Saxon,
died Oct. 25, 2009, in Milwaukee. He was born Feb. 8, 1939, in Saxon, son of the
late Arthur and Anna (Ylitalo) DuCharme, and grew up there. He graduated from
Saxon High School, and served in the U.S. Army during the Berlin
Crisis. Surviving are a son, Greg, and daughter, Lynn
Ducharme; brothers, Barry, Frank, Jim and Bobby; and a sister, June Saari. A
daughter, Heidi Ann DuCharme, died May 8, 2010. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by brothers, Arthur, Earl and Gerald. Cremation has taken place. A joint memorial service for Paul and Heidi
will be held Saturday, June 26, at 11 a.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral
Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood, Mich., with the Rev. Michael Hayden,
pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hurley, officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at
