Patricia M."Pat" Pospeck, 62, of E5065 Slade Rd., Ironwood Township, died Saturday morning, March 14, 2009, with her family by her side, at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette. The former Pat Hill was born June 25, 1946, in Ironwood, daughter of the late Arne and Lillian (Niemi) Hill. She attended Roosevelt Grade School in Ironwood Township and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School with the Class of 1964. Pat retired from K-Mart after many years of service. She was an active member of the Class of 1964 Reunion Committee and former member of the Ironwood Jaycettes, and was also formerly active in 4-H. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all. She was married to James B. Pospeck on June 26, 1965, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Bessemer, by the Rev. Louis Bracket. Jim survives. Also surviving are two sons, Scott (Patricia) and Mark (Holly), and three grandsons, Jeremy, Justin and Joshua, all of Bessemer; and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering in celebration of Pat's life will be held Sunday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Pospeck family home, E5065 Slade Rd., in Ironwood Township.
