Patricia D. Lane, 80 of Ironwood, Michigan (formerly of Hazel Park) died peacefully on July 28, 2024.

Patricia was born on September 20, 1943, in Detroit Michigan. She attended grade school and Junior High school in Detroit and graduated from David Mackenzie High School in February of 1960. Patricia was a lifelong learner who loved reading. She spent most of her life in service to others.

Patricia worked for the Kmart Corporation for 20 years as a data entry specialist. When Kmart downsized its holdings in 1996, she decided to attend Sawyer Business College to further her education and skills.

She was a dedicated servant of the lord. She attended Faith Lutheran Church in Troy, Michigan. As a member of the church, she was active in many of the church's community programs. She co-taught citizenship classes as well as supported instruction for the ESL classes. Additionally, she was on alter care and ambassador for the welcome desk for visitors.

She was civic-minded and always looked for ways to give to people in need. She consistently donated to a large variety of charities as well as her family members. She never failed to send a card for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, etc. She was famous for her care packages of (coats, scarves, and gloves). She was a lover of animals. Throughout her life, she was the proud owner of several Pomeranians, which she treated like family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Daniel Lane, her parents Lawerence and Irene (nee- Crawford) Miller as well as her in-laws- Gerald and William Juutilainen, Joseph Brozzo, Darlene (Reno) Suliin and Linda (Bill) Marzack and Roland Zanella.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Elizabeth A. Rodgers of Warren, Michigan, granddaughters Mackenzie, Alexis, Isabella, and Ava Rodgers, and in-laws- Jeanie Zanella of Hurley and Grace (WM) McDonald of Bessemer, and Jack Brozzo of Bessemer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on August 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at McKevitt Patrick Funeral Home in Ironwood, Michigan.
