Patricia A. "Pat" Krznarich, 82, of 235 W. Gogebic St., Ironwood, died Monday, June 11, 2007, in Hurley. The former Patricia Toutloff was born July 15, 1924, in Marquette, daughter of the late Chester and Lucille (Andersen) Toutloff, attended Ironwood schools, and graduated from L.L. Wright High School in 1942. She married John J. "Johnny K" Krznarich on June 26, 1943, at the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis Campus Chapel. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2002. Pat was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, where she was active as a Eucharistic Minister and Grief Coordinator, and was also a member of the Range Art Association and Theatre North. She was an avid bridge player and reader, and served as past president of the Ironwood Junior Woman's Club. Pat was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed. Surviving are her daughter, Kristine (Dave) Maney, Ironwood; two grandchildren, Kellie (Jim) Pappas, Mequon, Wis., and Amy Maney, at home; three great-grandchildren, Marina, Nicholas, and Preston John Pappas; brothers-and-sisters-in-law, Matt and Virginia Krznarich, Sun City, AZ and Hurley, and Faye Krznarich and Ardith Krznarich, both of Ironwood; numerous nieces and nephews; and three "adopted" sons, George Lucas, Hubertus, Wis., Marty Murto, Montana, and Tom Bidgood, Denver, Colo. Besides her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Jon Michael, June 27, 1968, and brother, Scott Thornton. In accordance with Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 26, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, with the Rev. Darryl J. Pepin, presider. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood. Relatives and friends may call in the St. Joseph Family Room at the church beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
