Nancy Jacobson, 81, of Ironwood, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Nancy was born the daughter of Everett G. and Martha J. (Saari) Moren on March 14, 1941, in Ironwood. She was a graduate of Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood.

Nancy was united in marriage on November 7, 1959, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ironwood to Lloyd Jacobson. Nancy was a legal secretary at Jacobs, McDonald & Silc for 14 years.

She was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ironwood. Nancy enjoyed singing hymns in church and was also a member of the church choir for many years. Nancy enjoyed music and playing the accordion. She collected figurines, especially angels. She enjoyed supporting Lloyd who played softball and attended Packer and Red Sox games together. Their favorite vacation was their second honeymoon trip to Hawaii. She cherished the time spent with her family and grandkids. Nancy loved to cook, and feeding her family brought her happiness, especially making her grandkids their special meal.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 62 years; Lloyd; daughters, Lori (Mark) Makela of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Sheri (Jerry) Trotochaud of Florida, sister, Judith (Ken) Bashara of Merril, Wisconsin; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Wayne, Meggie (Tim) and Jessica (Richard); 11 great-grandchildren, Reagan, Noelle, Brooke, Aaron, Luke, Christopher, Carolyn AnnMoren, Noah, Austin, Josh, and Halle. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother; Gerald (Joyce) Moren.

Visitation for Nancy will take place on Monday, April 18th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ironwood with Pastor Nichole Hanson-Lynn officiating.
