Nancy Kay Gosse, 75, of Mercer, and formerly of Hortonville, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026.

Nancy was born on October 25, 1950, to Lester and Dorothy (Schroeder) Warning. She was united in marriage to David Gosse on March 22, 1968, in Appleton.

Nancy had a love for nature and enjoyed traveling, whether exploring Alaska or taking train trips across the United States. She also enjoyed thrifting (three of everything!), visiting garage sales (she knew every street in Appleton), working on word puzzles, and sewing.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her husband, David; her daughter, Kim (Chris) Smith; her two brothers, Roger (Cindy) Warning and Randy (Lori) Warning; and her brother-in-law, Robert Jentz. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two sisters, Vicki Jentz and Sandy (Jerry) McKeever; and her nephews, Benji Jentz, Bobby Gosse and Jerry Winters.

A celebration of Nancy’s life is being held at Muskies Bar & Grill, Mercer, on Thursday, November 5th from 3 pm to 6 pm, with another held in Hortonville to be announced at a later date.
