Michael L. Smith, age64,of Mercer, formerly of Indiana, died on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at his home. He was born November 19, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of the late Lloyd and Dorothy (Harden) Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Smith of Mercer, and his son, Sean Smith of Prospect Heights, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place at the Range Crematory in Hurley, WI. Family services will be held in the spring.
