Ironwood, Mich. - Mary K. Morrison, 76, of Ironwood, Michigan went home to Jesus on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Mary was born on February 17, 1946, in the Copper Country. She was the adopted daughter of the late William and Katherine (Helmi) Sormunen of Chassell, Michigan.

She graduated from Chassel High School and later in life she earned her degree as a registered nurse. She was a woman of faith who loved the Lord, her family, friends and sharing her faith.

Mary and her late husband of 54 years, David W. Morrison, have three surviving children, Lisa (Jack) Sweat, Damon (Cheryl) Morrison, and Shane (Andrea) Morrison; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her devotion, love, forgiveness, and peace have been a source of inspiration to us all and are deeply missed by the lives of those she touched.
