Marcia A. Driscoll, 64, of 533 Florence St., Ironwood, died unexpectedly Monday morning, April 7, 2008, in Ironwood. The former Marcia Miller was born Sept. 27, 1943, in Marenisco, daughter of the late Alton and Cecilia (Pashak) Miller, and attended Marenisco schools. She was employed in waitress work in the area for several years, and worked on the Gogebic County Election Board for a number of years. She was a member of the Woodland Church in Ironwood, and enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and reading the Bible. On June 1, 1963, Marcia married Dennis M. Driscoll in Pine City, Minn. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Jackie Driscoll, a granddaughter, Emily Erickson, a brother, Richard (Kathy) Miller, and sister, Carolyn Wilutis, all of Ironwood; brothers-and-sisters-in-law, Terrence and Dorothy "Dixie" Driscoll, Plymouth, and Patricia and Raymond Isakson, Chassell; aunts, Valerie Miller, Marenisco, and Babe Miller, Canada; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her special friend and companion, her cocker spaniel, "Harley". Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Laura and Susan, at birth. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m., at the Woodland Church, N10234 Curry Rd., in Ironwood, with Deacon Mike Hill officiating. Luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. Relatives and friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, April 22.
