Lois F. Chatterson, age 90, of Hurley, died, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born February 13, 1927 in Morse, WI, the daughter of the late Louis and Ellen (Smith) Deringer. She graduated from Glidden High School. Her husband, Francis G. Chatterson, preceded her in death on July 17, 2011. Lois is survived by her son, Steve (Peggy) Chatterson of Ironwood; two daughters, Kathryn Jackson of Ironwood, and Patricia (Roger Benjamin) Wanden of Hurley; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra in 1949. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ironwood. Rev. Kurt Brandon will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Inurnment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Morse, WI.
