Lawrence T. "Larry" Ruby, 65, of Ironwood, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, in Ironwood.      He was born April 1, 1948, in Ironwood, son of the late Lawrence and Rose (Penska) Ruby, and was a lifelong resident.      He is survived by three sisters, Judith Greiten, Rochester, Minn., Donna (Charles) Hessil, Rothschild, Wis., and Jane (Mark) Bowman, Ironwood; two brothers, Raymond (Susan), Columbus, Wis., and Glenn (Rachel), Peoria, Ariz.; two aunts, Margaret Penska, Ironwood, and Carol Pesola, Ishpeming; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ruby, Phoenix, Ariz., Tammie Ruby (Benny), Ironwood, and Shana Ruby, Rhinelander, Wis.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.      Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, May 1968, Randy, November 1986, Greg, February 1999, and Jim, May 2012; and brother-in-law, Ralph Greiten, November. 2008.      In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.      Graveside committal services will be held Monday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m., at Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood, with Deacon Chuck Gervasio officiating.      Condolences may be given to Larry's family online at mckevittpatrickfuneralhome.com.      Arrangements are entrusted to McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ironwood.
