Karen Elaine Anderson, 55, of 243 E. Ridge St., Ironwood, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017. She was born April 4, 1962 in Flint, Mich., the daughter of Franklin D. Sr. and Annie (McClanahan) Tuck. Karen was an incredible, dedicated wife of 38 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother "Nana". She was looking forward to becoming a great-grandmother in February of 2018. Karen was a very beautiful and elegant lady. She enjoyed many things including: horses, flowers, scratch-off tickets, casinos, four wheeling, and all things pretty. She is survived by her mother, Annie Tuck of Mt. Morris, MI; her husband, Guy of Ironwood; two sons, Guy Albin Anderson Jr., and Gabrial Shane Anderson, both of Ironwood; two daughters, Apryll Lynn Anderson of Owosso, MI, and Autumn Elaine Anderson of Ironwood; 8 Grandchildren, Angel, Cierra, Zachary, Jeremy, Cory, Bria, GraceLynn, and Ava; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Franklin (Leonora) Tuck of Rainelle, West Vinginia, Bruce Tuck and Brian Tuck both of Mt. Morris, MI; two sisters, Janet (Thomas) June of Genesee, MI, and Tania Tuck of Mt. Morris, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son; her father, Franklin D. Tuck Sr.; and her sister, Donna Hutton. The funeral service will held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Ketola-Burla Funeral Home in Ironwood. Rev. Rosemary DeHut will officiate. Karen''s family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
