June Ardith Krznarich, 83, of
Ironwood, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, in Hurley, after a brief
illness. Ardith, as she was best known, was born on
April 7, 1928, in Wakefield, Mich., the daughter of Anna (Johnson) and John
Pezzetti. She attended Wakefield schools and graduated from Wakefield High
School with the class of 1945. After high school, she worked at her father's
tavern, the Sports Bar, in Wakefield. On June 9, 1949, she married Milton Krznarich
at the rectory of Holy Trinity Church in Ironwood. Milt and Ardith spent the
first two years of marriage living in Watersmeet, Mich. and then moved to
Ironwood. Ardith was a caring and devoted wife and mother who always put her
family first. When her husband Milt was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, she
proved to be a tireless caregiver for over twenty years. Her pride and joy were
her sons. She especially enjoyed attending their sporting events, whether they
would be playing or coaching. She was their safety net, always there. She loved
animals, having a genuine love for her own dogs, but also for any stray that
might wander into the Krznarich yard. In her later years, she chose to pursue a
quiet life in her home in Jessieville. She will be sorely missed by all who knew
her. Survivors include her two sons, Jim (Julie),
of Ironwood, and Milt (Bonnie), of Norway, Mich.; grandson, Dan (Amanda)
Krznarich, Appleton; sister, Muriel Vidakovich, and brother, Don (Joellyn)
Pezzetti, both of Wakefield; brother-and-sister-in-law, Matt and Virginia
Krznarich, Sun City, Ariz; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Milt; sister, Judy Ravelli; brothers, Jim Pezzetti and Keith Pezzetti,
in infancy; and brothers-and-sisters-in-law, John and Pat Krznarich, Dennis
Ravelli, Nick Vidakovich, Janet Pezzetti, Bruno and Katherine Rodeghiero, and
Joe and Faye Krznarich. In accordance with Ardith's wishes, cremation

Jan. 14, from 1 to 3 p.m., with a time for sharing of memories from 2:30 to 3
