Judith D. "Annie" Barbacovi, 71, of Bessemer, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 12, 2018 in Wausau, WI. She was born May 24, 1946 in Wakefield, MI, and was the daughter of the late Sidney and Mary (Wuorinen) Barringer. Judy graduated from Wakefield High School with the Class of 1964. She was a devoted mother and grandmother; her world revolved around her friends and family. Judy frequented garage sales in her free time and she loved Marty''s Goldenaires, especially watching her son, John. She was a warm and ca ring person who always put others first; and, she loved her country music. She is survived by her son, John (Rose) Barbacovi of Hurley; her six grandchildren, Gage, Payton, Kyler, Brooklyn, Ezra, and Aubrey; her two brothers, Richard (Rita) Barringer of Ashland and Dean (Janet) Barringer of Toms River, New Jersey; special nieces, Stacey Barringer and her children, Garion, Brittany, and Julie Pezzetti, and her daughter, Ashley; as well as numerous other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanette and her sister, Janet Pezzetti. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Frick-Zielinski Funeral Home in Bessemer. Rev. Jean Rencontre will officiate. Judy''s family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Lunch will follow at John and Rose''s home, 110 Oak St., Hurley, WI.
