Joseph Eugene "Joe" Dalpiaz Jr., 69, of Ironwood, died Monday, June 22, 2015, at Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield.      He was born July 16, 1945, in Ironwood, son of the late Joseph Eugene and Patricia Betty (Loo) Dalpiaz . He attended Ironwood schools and graduated from Luther Wright High School in 1963. He then attendedGogebic Community College and the University of Wisconsin-Superior.      Joe traveled extensively in Europe and was a ski instructor at Big Powderhorn Mountain for many years. He was also a fireman for the City of Ironwood Fire Department for several years.      He was married to the former Shirley Erickson of Ironwood. They later divorced.      Surviving are two brothers, Dick, Kimball, Wis., and Bill (Nancy), Mercer, Wis.;  and two sisters, Susan (Paul) Berger, Charlotte, and Nancy Dalpiaz, Iron Belt, Wis.      Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bob and Don; and sister-in-law, Barb Dalpiaz.      Per Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place.      Private family services and inurnment will be held at a later date.      Memorials are preferred to the HOPE Animal Shelter, P.O.
