John Joseph Priante, 66, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Essentia Health, Fargo, North Dakota. John had been in ill health in recent years battling multiple health issues.

John was born on August 28, 1957, in Ironwood Michigan, son of the late Geno Priante and Donna (Ferkovich) Doucette. He was a graduate of Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood where he excelled in football, wrestling, and track.

John was an over the road trucker for many years. His passion for driving allowed him to relocate to North Dakota. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, professional wrestling, and cheering for his beloved Green Bay Packers. John loved to have fun, play hard, and live life to the fullest.

He is survived by his wife, Tamara Ewing Priante; daughter, Lisa (Weston); son, Geno; stepson, Brandon; grandchildren, Jaylyn, Janessa, and Barbara Ann; stepfather, Richard Doucette and family, and his sister, Jean Priante. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends. John was preceded in death by his father, Geno, and mother, Donna.

Private graveside prayers will take place at the Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood Michigan with Father Brian Gerber presiding.
