Ironwood - John J Kasieta, 90, of Ironwood, Mich., died on Sunday, February 12, 2023.

He was born on June 19, 1932, in Ironwood to the late Antoni and Stella (Borowski) Kasieta.

He is survived by his children, Diane Buchko, Robert Kasieta, and Jauneen Hoyt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Frank, Burla, Stanley, Eleanor, Joe, Anne, and Anton.

In accordance with John's wishes, no services will be held.

The family offers great thanks to the caring souls at Westgate Nursing Rehabilitation and Assisted Living, and to compassionate neighbors, Ken and Bonnie Simonich Wainio, for their unfailing kindness.
