Joanna L. Huber, 93, of Hurley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the Villa Maria Health & Rehabilitation Center in Hurley.
Joanna was born on October 21, 1928, to Leo F. and Eloise (Church) Dare in Owosso, Michigan.
She was united in marriage with Richard Duane Huber on November 29, 1947, in Evart, Michigan. Joanna enjoyed ceramics and owned her own store. She also loved knitting and her dogs.
She will be missed by her sons; Mike Huber of New Mexico and Greg Huber of Hurley; daughters, JoLynn Huber of Ironwood and Jayne Huber of Presque Isle; close family friend, Todd Jones; her grandchildren, Kathryn Osterman, Jennifer Huber, Scott Huber, Richard Hannu, Brandon Hannu, Bradley Vehrs, Jeff (Amy) Vehrs and Andrew Vehrs; and four great-grandchildren, Emily, Gabriel, Jayson, and Melodee.
Joanna was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard.
Private family services are taking place.
