Joan E. Wermager, 79, of Ironwood, passed away on February 4, 2020, in Ashland, Wisconsin.
Joan was born on November 25, 1940, in Virginia, Minnesota, daughter of John and Ethel Hill.
She was married to Bruce Wermager in November of 1980, and he preceded her in death in 2012.
Joan's hobbies were crocheting and Nintendo and she loved her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Hill and her husband, Bruce.
Joan is survived by her sister, Beverly Michelson of Minnesota; brother, George Hill of Minnesota; niece, Bonnie Michelson of Minnesota;  two step-daughters, Nanci Klein and Carrie (Shawn) Bradley and step-grandchildren, Jeff, Matt, Mackenzie, Aidan, Will, Jacob, Emma, and Kyra.
