Joan Ruth (Maki) Revoyr, 82, of Watersmeet, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at their home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Joan was born on October 22, 1942 in Trout Creek to John and Lillian (Ojala) Maki. She was a 1961 graduate of Trout Creek High School and a Bachelor of Science in Education at Northern Michigan University in 1971. Joan was united in marriage with James Edward Revoyr on June 30, 1962.

Joan is survived by her son, James (Jennifer) Revoyr; and two granddaughters, Mikayla (Louis) Barea, and Andrea Revoyr; brother, James (Dianna) Maki; and her sister, Lynn Paquette, along with many nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James in October 2024; sisters, Florence, Joyce, Marge and Janet; and her brothers, John and Bob.

No formal services are taking place.
