Jazamine Lynn Wellisley, 12, of 903 Sutherland Ave., Ironwood, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, from injuries sustained in an accident in the town of Wilson, MI. She was born Dec. 21, 1994, in Flint, the daughter of Kirk Licavoli and Karen Wellisley, and recently moved to Ironwood from Davison, MI. where she completed the sixth grade at Hahn Intermediate School. She was about to enter the seventh grade at Luther L. Wright Middle School. Jazamine was a babysitter, loved doing cartwheels, climbing trees, and gynnastics, and currently held a green belt in karate. She also enjoyed any craft work and was an excellent seamstress. Surviving are her mother, Karen McCary, of Ironwood; her father, Kirk Licavoli, Otter Lake; sisters, Brittany Wellisley and Korrah McCary, both of Ironwood; paternal grandmother, Deanna Paris, Otter Lake; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Phyllis Wellisley, Millington; paternal great-grandfather, Donald (Linda) Humphreys, and paternal great-grandmother, Marilyn (Ray) Louks, both of Millington; and maternal great-grandmother, Rosemarie Potts, Birch Run; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; her best friends, Elaina Johnson, Davison, and Fontana Webb, Otter Lake; and many other friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood, with the Rev. Christian Muellerleile, officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood. Relatives and friends may call at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening, and again from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
