Janice I. Sopko, 83, of Bessemer, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at Aspirus Grand View Hospital  in Ironwood.      The former Janice Hodges was born May 29, 1932, in Nashopa, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Harvey and Emma (Carpenter) Hodges.      She was married to Robert Price in 1948. They later divorced.      She then married Arthur Sopko on June 27, 1983, in Las Vegas. They resided in California prior to moving to Ironwood in 1995 and later to Bessemer in 1996.      Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmotherand great-grandmother, and will be deeply missed.      Surviving are her husband, Art, of 32 years; two sons, Harvey (Joanne) Price, Sun City West, Ariz., and George (Robin) Price, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Patricia (Thomas) Wilhoyte, Sacramento, Calif.; two stepsons, John (Kimberly) Sopko, Fullerton, Calif., and David (Stacey) Sopko, Creedmor, No. Carolina; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.      Besides her parents, she was preceded in deathby a grandson, Travis Wilhoyte; and  a brother, James Hodges.      At Janice's request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.      Private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood.      Arrangements were with McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ironwood.
