Janice Marie Johnson, age 87, of Upson, WI, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at the Villa Maria Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Jan was born on May 28, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI. At the age of 15, she moved to Upson, where she attended and graduated from J.E. Murphy High School, Class of 1956. She began her career at Square D and later transitioned into the field of banking, where she spent many years dedicated to serving her community. Jan retired from Wells Fargo Bank in Ironwood, MI.

She is survived by her loving sister, Carol Peterson, and sister-in-law, Laurie Kutz, along with many cherished nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her fashionable style and the memorable times they shared together.

Jan was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Caroline Lipske; father, Joseph Lipske; and her brother, Martin Lipske.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's of the Seven Dolors in Hurley, WI. Interment will follow at the Upson Cemetery.
