James T.
"Mr. James" Thiede, 58, of Airport Rd., Ironwood Township, died
unexpectedly Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Aspirus Grand View Hospital in
Ironwood. He was born Feb. 6, 1955,
in Ironwood, son of the late Zane and Jean (Coleman) Thiede, graduated from J.E.
Murphy High School in Hurley, Wis. in 1973, and attended Gogebic Community
College for one year. He was employed at White Pine Copper Co. and Bessemer
Plywood until becoming disabled. He enjoyed woodworking and was a big NASCAR
racing fan. On May 25, 1991, he was
married to Jacqueline "Jackie" Fudaley at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in
Ironwood. She survives. Also surviving are a
brother, Richard (Vicky) Thiede, Ramsay; two sisters, Mary Ann Johnson,
Ironwood, and Sandy (Randy) Joly, Phoenix, Ariz.; numerous nieces and nephews;
his mother-in-law, Margaret Fudaley, Ironwood; brother-in-law, Geno Fudaley,
Ironwood Township; sisters-in-law, Marilee Fudaley, Ironwood, and Kathy Jo (Jim)
Koval, Ironwood Township; and his faithful companion, his golden retriever,
Dusty. Besides his parents,
Jim was predeceased by his father-in-law, Eugene "Haiki" Fudaley, on Feb. 17,
2012. Per his wishes,
cremation has taken place. A private family gathering
