James Michael
Rosine
August 3, 1955 – April 16, 2026
James Rosine, 70, of Ironwood, Michigan, and formerly of West Bend, Wisconsin, passed away on April 16, 2026.
James was born on August 3, 1955, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, to Gerald and Ruth (Chesky) Rosine. Known to many as Jim, he lived a life defined by resilience, hard work, and a willingness to lend a hand wherever it was needed. A survivor of childhood polio, he carried that experience with quiet strength throughout his life.
Jim spent many years around the dirt track racing circuit, where he became known for his ability to fix just about anything and for helping others without hesitation, whether it was crafting a steel shoe or getting a bike back on track. He was part of a close-knit community where people relied on one another, and he was always someone they could count on.
He found great joy in the outdoors, with fishing being a lifelong passion that brought him peace and contentment. Jimmy was united in marriage to Teresa Zych on November 25, 1987, in West Bend.
One of the most meaningful chapters of his life was the 14 years he spent camping at Camp Holiday. Those years were filled with cherished time alongside family, especially his grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be carried forward by all who shared them. Watching his children grow and flourish was his greatest joy.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa; his children, Randy (Jennifer), Brad (Jess), and Travis (Amber), and Emily (Jason); his mother, Ruth; his grandchildren, Atlanta, Hailee, Krista, Kelsie, Brooklyn, Tyler, Ethan, Jaden, Blake, Stella, Jack, and Hank; his great-grandchildren, Leah, Chloe, Jaxon, Jettsen, and Layla; his brothers, Terry, Jeff, David, Joe, and John; his sisters, Sandy and Kathy; and his Birchwood neighbors. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald, his sister, Shelly and sister in law, Cindy Rosine.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
