James Edward Revoyr, 85, of Watersmeet, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the Villa Maria Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hurley.

Jim was born on August 14, 1939, to Coy and Julia (Cady) Revoyr in Ironwood, Michigan. He was a 1957 graduate of Watersmeet High School, he then went on to attend Gogebic Community College and graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1969. He retired in 1995 as a teacher, Jim worked in Phelps, Wisconsin, and in Watersmeet, Michigan. Jim was a proud USMC veteran who served his country from 1957 to 1960 in Barstow, California. On June 30, 1962, Jim was united in marriage with Joan Maki.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; son, James (Jennifer) Revoyr; two granddaughters, Mikayla (Louis) Barea, and Andrea Revoyr; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James (Dianna) Maki and Lynn Paquette. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother; Bill.
