Irene C. DeRosso, 85, of Hurley, passed away suddenly on February 20, 2021 in Ironwood, Michigan. She was born on March 26, 1935, in Pence; Wisconsin, the daughter to the late Louis and Frieda (Magni) Morgando. On September 4, 1954 she was united in marriage to Dennis DeRosso. Mom was an amazing knitter and crafter and always had several projects in process. She was also a wonderful cook and baker, and there was always something sweet for a treat with afternoon coffee. She loved playing Bingo with her friends and neighbors. Irene is survived by her children, Barry DeRosso, Candy (Tom) Thompson, Gina (Jeff) Pickhardt, Paul (Lori) DeRosso, Scott (Jyl) DeRosso and daughter-in-law Julie (Mickey) DeRosso; as well as eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Louise Morgando Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis; and son, Mickey, as well as five brothers and three sisters.
