Gloria M. Stella, 79, of Hurley, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Gloria was born on May 30, 1946, to Italo and Mary (Minelli) Stella in Ironwood. She was a graduate of J.E Murphy High School.

Gloria enjoyed the simple joys of life, including plastic canvassing, playing Bingo, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and playing games with her family. Her quiet strength and unique spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Donna (Paul) Blake of Houghton, Debbie (Bob) Darnell of Peoria, AZ, Michelle (Ken) Palosaari of Calumet and Tim Christensen of Ironwood; brother, John (Sandy) Stella of Oma, Christine (Bob) Secor of Hurley, Terry (Bill) Nowlin of Kaufman, TX; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Steve, and her brothers Roger and Evarest.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Ironwood.
