Geraldine A. Tuma 80, of Ironwood Township passed away on Tuesday January 21, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.

Geri was born the daughter of Gerald "Jerry" and Emily M.(Jacquart) Eifolla on April 4, 1944 in Ironwood. She graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood and then received her Associates in Business degree from Gogebic Community College. On February 12, 1966 she was united in marriage with Robert Tuma at St. Ambrose Church in Ironwood. Geri was employed for many years as a secretary and bookkeeper for Ahonen Lumber Co. and Apartments. Later Geri was a ward clerk at Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield. Geri and her husband Bob were members of the Klassic Kruisers car club which they both enjoyed. She was a loving wife and mother who would do anything for her kids, hardworking, and an excellent cook. She also enjoyed shopping, going on walks, and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends over coffee.

Geri will be missed by her husband Bob, son Robert (Nina) Tuma of Ironwood, daughter Rene Borowski of Wheeling IL, 2 grandsons Adam and Vince Borowski, brother Dennis (Lynn) Eifolla Saxon, WI and her sister Donna Spigarelli Iron Mountain, MI. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Greg Eifolla, and sister Emily "Sue" Spencer.

A memorial gathering and service are being planned for a later date in the spring of 2025. A service notice to follow.
