Frances T.  Monrad, 93, of Ironwood, died Saturday morning, Aug. 20, 2016, at Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield.      The former Frances Tabacchi was born May 2, 1923, in Hurley, Wis., daughter of the late Louis and Maria Tabacchi.      Surviving are a brother, Leno (Jo) Tabacchi, San Clemente, Calif.; nieces, Lee Ann (Greg) Plotts, Valley Village, Calif., Lynn (Patrick) Canning, Anaheim, Calif. , Catherine (Steve) Garvey, Shoreview, Minn., and Mary (Greg) Pavlak and Susan (Mary Lou) Pavlak, both of St. Paul, Minn.; nephews, Robert (Jackie) Pavlak and David (Catherine) Pavlak, both of St. Paul; numerous other nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins in Italy.      Beside s her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Otis K. Monrad, in 1985; sister, Zera Tabacchi; and sister-in-law, EdelRuth Pavlak.      Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.      Graveside services and Rite of Committal  will be held Thursday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m., in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hurley, with the Rev. Frank Kordek OFM, presiding.      Inurnment will follow.      In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 404 Iron St., Hurley, WI 54534.      McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ironwood is assisting the family.
