Floyd E. Rouse, 96, of Ironwood, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, in Ironwood.      He was born Sept. 27, 1913, in Ironwood, son of the late George and Emma (Bennett) Rouse, and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1932.      He worked for many years at the Factory Shoe Shop in Ironwood and the Newport Mine, and as custodian for the Ironwood School District, retiring in 1978.      He attended Wesley United Methodist Church in Ironwood.      Floyd was married to the former Ruth Draver of Wakefield on Jan. 20, 1940, at the First Presbyterian Manse in Ironwood, by the late Rev. G.A. Kaltenbach. She survives.      Also surviving are a son, William (Shirley), Havre De Grace, Md.; a daughter, Janice (Lee) Larson, Ann Arbor; four grandchildren, Russel (Darcy) Rouse, Birmingham, Ala., Brenda Rouse, Churchville, Md., Kevin (Karen) Larson, Ann Arbor, and Denise (Timothy Jr.) Sanders, Dexter; four great-grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Sanders, and Sarah and Eric Larson; numerous nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, Bill Draver, Chicago, and a sister-in-law, Marie Rouse, Ironwood Township.      Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Gordo, Roland, Clyde, Irving, Theodore, George and Bernard; and four sisters, Ruth Richards, Myrtle Hancock, Jessie Gronfeldt and Maxine Bex.      Out of respect for Floyd's wishes, cremation has taken place.        A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m., at Wesley United Methodist Church, 500 E. McLeod Ave., in Ironwood, with the Rev. Jean Rencontre officiating.      Committal will take place at the church, with luncheon to follow in the church fellowship hall.      Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood.      Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.       In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wesley United Methodist Church, 500 E.
