Faron M. Berset, 57, of Ironwood passed away on November 29, 2021, at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital after a four-year battle with cancer. Faron was born on January 7, 1964, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Otto and Jeanette (Piispanen) Berset. He spent most of his life driving truck and hauling over the road. He was employed by White Construction Company in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin until he became ill. Faron's life revolved around anything fast and fun. He loved doing mechanical work and automotive fabrication. His love for the outdoors and mechanical work was second to none. It was his passion. He spent countless hours helping people in the community work on anything with an engine and wheels. Faron will be greatly missed by many. Faron is survived by his father, Otto Berset; sisters, Bella Treene of Oregon, Darcy Johnson of Florida and Letty Berset of North Dakota; his brother, Dane Berset of Ironwood; and many other close family and friends.
