Eleanore Wilhelmina (Kero) Viviano, 85, of Ironwood, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Mn. She was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Saxon, Wis., daughter of the late Emil and Senja (Kelto) Kero of Saxon. She attended Saxon schools and participated in 4-H. Eleanore worked as a seamstress specializing in custom draperies and shades in Tucson, Az., Orange County, Ca., and Milwaukee, Wis. She motivated many women through her TOPS activities. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bessemer. She spent many hours aboard her late husband's vessel "Sisu" which was docked in both Milwaukee and Saxon harbors. Eleanore met the late Harold Vernon Viviano of Wakefield on the train to Chicago, where they were subsequently married on June 21, 1947. He preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2002. Surviving are two sons, William Emil, Mountain, Wis. and Robert Lawrence (Lynn), Brookfield, Wis.; a daughter, Annette Eleanore Viviano, Ironwood; four grrandchildren, Zak Viviano, Green Bay, Wis., Katie (Jeff) Arnold, Denver, Co., and Aaron and Amy Viviano, Brookfield; a great-grandchild, Aden Arnold; three brothers, Robert (Bev) Kero, Joliet, Ill., Reynold (Shirley) Kero, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Arnold (Susie) Kero, Saxon; two sisters, Helen (John) Trojahn, Mesa, Az. and Norma Peterson, Scottsdale, Az.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, Eleanore was preceded in death by her brother, William Kero; her brother-in-law, Barry Peterson; and various aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m., at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 8223 Sanders Rd., in Bessemer, with the Rev. Edward Wright officiating. Lunch will immediately follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Saxon, in the spring. Friends may visit with Eleanore's family from 10 a.m. until service time at the church on Friday.
