Earl T. Jensen, 85, of 515 E. Vaughn St., Ironwood, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, Oct. 14, 2008, in his home. He was born May 20, 1923 in Spencer, Wis., son of the late Eiler and Edith (Cook) Jensen, and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1941. Earl owned and operated The Little Dairy in Ironwood prior to operating a dairy farm in North Ironwood near Little Girl's Point for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and painting. Surviving are a sister, Violet Roepke, of Albuquerque, N.M.; and five nephews, Craig, Kurt and Karl Roepke, and David and Jerry Frigo. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Jensen. In accordance with Earl's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering in celebration of Earl's life will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood.
