Dorothy "Dottie" Peterson, 68, of Gile, Wis., died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, in Ironwood.      She was born Aug. 24, 1942, in Ironwood, daughter of the late Bernard and Dorothy (Tomich) Peterson, and lived in Gile most of her life.      Dottie was the hub of our family and the love of our lives. She was an inspiration to us all. She was an angel on earth and definitely an angel in heaven, and will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace.      Surviving are two sisters, Shelby Skaja, Menasha, Wis., and Melanie (Wally) Ellerson, Park Falls, Wis.; three brothers, Bernard "Bookie" (Janet) Peterson, Mercer, Wis., Rod (Cheri) Peterson, Sturtevant, Wis., and Darin (Gay) Peterson, Duluth, Minn.; several aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.      Private family services were held.      Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hurley, Wis.      Memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice Services, N10561 Grandview Lane, Ironwood, Mich. 49938.      Online condolences may be given to Dottie's family at mckevittpatrickfuneralhome.com.      Arrangements were entrusted to McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home Inc., Ironwood.
