Donna Elaine Tourville, age 84, peacefully passed away on November 9, 2017 surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Born July 13, 1933 in Milwaukee WI to her Father, Wenzel Bochek and Mother, Irene (Kihslinger) Bochek. Donna was a dedicated military spouse to her husband of 56 years, Robert James Tourville and mother to six children. Donna was a retired LPN of 22 years having worked at both Grandview Hospital and Gogebic County Medical Center. She was an active volunteer in her community with multiple philanthropic organizations. Donna was a loving and caring Mother, Grandmother and friend to many who always went above and beyond to help others in times of need. She was a talented seamstress who loved crafting, baking and travel. She traveled and lived around the world and settled in Bessemer with her family in 1972. She is predeceased by her parents, husband Robert J Tourville, brother Eugene Bochek and sister Joyce Berns. She is survived by brother Robert Bochek, children Marc Tourville and his wife Camille, Scott Tourville, Todd Tourville, Dale Tourville and his wife Melissa, Joel Tourville and his wife Dixie, Anne (Tourville) Thurston and her husband Michael; 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Per her wishes, Donna has been cremated. AMass of Christian Burialwill be held at St Sebastian Catholic Church on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:00am. Father Dominic Agyapong will be the celebrant. Donna''s family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Luncheon to follow in the parish hall.
