Debra Ann "Debbie" Branch,
56, of Ironwood, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, in
Ironwood. She was born March 31, 1955, in Ironwood,
daughter of the late Elmer and Bernadine (Taylor) Helgren, and attended J.E.
Murphy High School in Hurley. Debbie was employed in housekeeping at the
Crestview Motel in Ironwood until retiring due to ill health. Her grandchildren
were her life. Surviving are a daughter, Raye Ann (Patrick)
Moselle, and son, Ryan (Stefhenie) Branch, both of Ironwood; and six
grandchildren, Courtney, Devon, Hayley, Gage, Emma and Bella. She is also survived by nieces and nephews,
Shelly (Dave) Brauer, Jeff (Monica) Ramme, Scott (Missy) Worthington, Steven
(Brenda) Worthington, and Dave Ramme Jr.; great-nieces and nephews, Walker and
Grace Brauer, Alex and Scottie Worthington Jr.,
Lauren and Cambree Ramme, Hope and Steven Worthington Jr., and Ariana Deardoff;
cousins, Cliff and Dale Stella, and Bobby Taylor; and numerous other
cousins. Besides her parents, Debbie was preceded in
death by her sisters, Linda Ramme and Sandy Worthington; and a great-nephew,
Matthew Worthington, in infancy. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1,
at 3 p.m., preceded by visitation at 2 p.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral
Home, 305 N. Lowell St, in Ironwood, with the Rev. Darryl J. Pepin, pastor of
Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, officiating. Rite of Committal will take place at the
funeral home, with cremation to follow. Private interment will be in Riverside
Cemetery, Ironwood. Debbie's obituary may be viewed online and
