Deborah L. Hahn, 72, of Ironwood, passed away unexpectedly with her husband by her side on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Debbie was born on April 17, 1954, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Wayne and LaRue (Beghun) Treder. She attended the Milwaukee College of Beauty Culture, where she earned her cosmetology license. Debbie and her mother later owned and operated their own hair salon, A Head of Time, where she enjoyed making people feel beautiful and cared for. She later worked as a cashier and also enjoyed working the Legion fish fries. On October 12, 1974, Debbie was united in marriage to Michael Hahn at Wesley Methodist Church. Debbie and her family moved to Marquette, Michigan in 1986, where they became foster parents for numerous children, until moving back to Ironwood in 1996.

Debbie enjoyed bowling, both in couples’ leagues and as a singles bowler. She also had a love for music and enjoyed playing the organ. She especially loved playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Debbie was an exceptionally talented knitter and crocheter, creating countless beautiful afghans and prayer shawls. Her handmade prayer shawls were given generously to family, friends, churches, and shelters, bringing comfort and warmth to many people throughout the years. Her thoughtful nature and willingness to share her talents with others will be fondly remembered.

Debbie will be deeply missed by her husband, Mike; three sons, Shawn (Joseph) Olander-Hahn of Niskayuna, New York, Aaron (Kayla Kozak) Hahn of Ironwood, and Brady (Amy Nosal) Hahn of Ironwood; and her brother, Patrick (Suanne) Treder. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael Treder.

Visitation for Debbie will take place on Tuesday, October 6, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home in Ironwood.
