It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Allen Christoferson on May 25, 2026. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, David will be remembered for his quick wit, generosity, strong work ethic, and the countless friendships he built throughout his life.

A proud graduate of Sevastopol High School in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. During his school years, he met and eventually married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Moeller, in 1967. In 1976, the couple moved to Saxon, Wisconsin, where they laid down roots and raised their family. David spent much of his life with family at Saxon Motors. More than just a business, the car lot became a gathering place where friends and family stopped in daily to swap stories over morning coffee or share a drink at the end of the day.

David was well known in the community for coaching Little League and Babe Ruth baseball, spending countless hours supporting local kids and sharing his love of the game. He found his greatest joy in life's simple moments-fishing on the lake, hunting, playing cards (especially a competitive game of Smear), and camping with family and friends. Over the years, many camping memories were made with his sisters Judy (Don) and Kathy (Tom), with close friends Irv & Sharon and Donna & Ray eventually joining them in their camping adventures. Nothing brought David more pride or happiness than watching his children and grandchildren compete in sports and take part in the activities they loved.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his children, Bill, Allen, Chris (Krissy), Drew (Marisol), Tricia (Allen) Lardinois, and Nathan (Christina); his sisters, Judy (Donald) Meyer and Kathy McCoy; and a cherished extended family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Natalie Christoferson; his father- and mother-in-law, Chet and Patricia Moeller; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Torp, Richard Kroll, and Mike McCoy.

David's life was centered around family, friends, laughter, and always having time for the people he cared about or just met. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of David's life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Saxon Community Center. Please come share your best Dave story with friends and family.
